Solution - These errors occurred when your Gradle version is older and you are trying to use API of higher versions. So to solve it just update gradle version and try to update Android Studio at least to version 3.2 or higher.

2)  Migrate project from Eclipse to Android Studio

Solution -  For this firstly you have to export project from Eclipse.

  • Update your eclipse ADT plugin (You must have version 22.0 or higher).
  • In Eclipse select File > Export
  • In the window that appears, open android and select Generate Gradle Build Files.
  • Select the project you want to export for Android Studio and click Finish.
  • Your selected projects remain in the same location but now contain a build.gradle file and are ready for Android Studio.
Now you have to import the project into Android Studio.
  • In Android Studio, select File > Import Project.
  • Locate a project you exported from Eclipse, select the project's root directory and click OK.
  • Select Create Project from existing sources and click Next.
  • Follow the walk-through to complete the import process.
3) Unable to start the daemon process: could not reserve enough space for object heap.
While creating a new project you can encounter this issue.

Solution - Open gradle.properties file and write below instruction and save. Gradle will automatically assign more heap space and issue will resolve.

org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx1024m
